“I’m living the dream.”
So says Hellen Ohwofasa, the proud CEO and owner of Massage Merit Spa. Known as the ‘Beauty Boss’ the 35-year-old mother of three officially launched her new spa at the Haven Hotel’s Leisure Club in Sandbanks, Poole. A five-figure sum has been sunk into the new venture which will employ up to six therapists.
At an opening ceremony attended by about 40 people, Cllr Nigel Hedges, Chairman of BCP Council and the first citizen of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, wished Hellen every success and cut the ribbon.
Other speakers included Jacqui Rock, Poole BID Lead and President of Bournemouth Chamber of Trade & Commerce.
She highlighted the importance of having a spa, providing wellness and body enhancement treatment, to residents and businesses in Poole and the surrounding area.
And Efe Ohwofasa, CEO of Focus Guru and Hellen’s husband, highlighted the wide range of treatments available including body massages, spa facials, spa body scrubs and wraps.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Hellen’s other award-winning business, 3D Pro Lashes in Winton.

Opening hours for the new spa are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am until 5pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
