This is the most crucial stage to ensuring longevity of your new lash extensions. During the first 24hrs, it is normal to experience loss of few lashes. Do not get your lashes in contact with water or even steam from the shower can affect the quality of the lash bond.

Do not use oil base products on the areas around the eyes, particularly waterproof mascara. If you absolutely feel the use of mascara let it be water based and we advise only on the bottom lashes.

Be very gentle with your new lashes, avoid pulling or tagging. Do not use mechanical lash curlers to avoid damaging your natural lashes as this might cause them to break off.

Only use lint free applicators and cotton pads to apply or remove your eye makeup. Completely avoid the use of cotton pads or towels as they can get caught and tug on the extensions.

Do not tint or perm while wearing lash extensions. If you wish to tint your natural lashes, this has to be done before application of your lash extensions.

HELPFUL TIPS

Take care when blow-drying your hair, as excess heat can cause the lashes to lose their curl. Use a protective sealant twice a week to protect the bond and prolong the life span of your lashes. Gently comb your lashes each morning to maintain a good appearance. 

CAUTION

If an allergic reactions occurs contact us ASAP or in severe cases do seek medical advice immediately. Lash extension adhesive generally contain cyanoacrylates, never attempt to remove yourself.

WEEK 1

Your lashes should look full without the need for an in-fill appointment. The occasional lash fall out may occur, however this will be entirely unnoticeable.

WEEK 2

As more lashes mature and fall out, your lashes will start to look less full. This will be particularly noticeable, but now is the time to book for your in-fill in week three.

WEEK 3

By third week gaps are inevitable as your lash hairs reach maturity and fall out. Without proper aftercare, larger gaps may start appearing and mascara may be required to regain the desired look. Ensure your full effects lasts longer by attending an in-fill appointment when necessary.

WEEK 4

Without an in-fill appointment by this time you may have lost most of the original extensions by end of week 4, meaning you will require a full set will be required on your next appointment.
